Sunday, July 11th 1 - 4 pm
Lynette Courtney, Greensboro Bend's native plant maven, is offering a woodlands walk on an easy Wheelock Mountain Farm trail. She's full of plant stories, common names, botanical names, and enthusiasm! Together we'll discover and teach each other about mosses, ferns, and all kinds of botanical treasures. Then, once we've identified our personal favorites, we'll create little terrariums to bring them home.
All ages welcome, plant novices and experts alike. (Kids, please bring an accompanying adult.) Materials provided. And, thanks to a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation, it's free! Space is limited, so please write to [email protected] to preregister. And, of course, same email for any questions.
We look forward to learning and creating with you!
