10am-1pm Workshops
1pm a simple, vegetarian Ayurvedic lunch for those who wish to stay
In this busy season take a moment to participate in the Community Wellness Gathering. Once again local healers and community members will offer workshops, time, and wisdom in a beautiful setting with a relaxed atmosphere so we can all be nourished & well.
10am-10:30am Opening Circle led by Tina
10:35am-11:35am Workshop 1 (Self Care led by Amy)
11:40am-12:40pm Workshop 2 (either Essential Oils for Sleep with Judy or Ayurveda with Renee)
12:45pm-1pm Closing Circle with Tina
1pm Simple, Vegetarian Ayurvedic Lunch provided for those who wish to stay (RSVP helpful)
Amy Sund is an Integrative Shiatsu & Massage Therapist in Hardwick. She will be leading a workshop on Self Care and offer various ways we can easily integrate this into our lives for a more balanced and peaceful journey.
Judy Jarvis is a Homeopathic and Heilkunst practitioner at Riverside Wellness in East Hardwick. She will be offering a workshop addressing Sleep issues with essential oils and other strategies.
Renée Rossi, MD, MFA, has been a physician for over 30 years and is also certified with NAMA as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. She is currently completing her Masters work in Ayurveda.
In her workshop she will discuss diet and lifestyle management to balance the aggravating qualities of our modern lifestyle. Ayurveda means the science of life and teaches us a way of life that helps us create and maintain health and balance. It does not directly address specific diseases or symptoms, but rather recognizes these symptoms as the result of an underlying imbalance in the body and mind.
Tina Ghantous Maher of Moonrise Yoga in Glover will be leading the opening and closing circles to honor the space we hold within us and during the time together at the gathering. Tina teaches yoga as an accessible path to personal wellbeing, and awakening to our place in the web of life.
There will be time during each session for questions and answers.
A simple vegetarian, Ayurvedic lunch will be provided at 1pm for those who wish to stay for it. RSVP helpful but not necessary.
All are welcome! Suggested Donation for the event and lunch is $10-$30 sliding scale.
RSVP if possible.
